IHCFA September 2010 Meeting

E. Gregory Thompson, M.D. will speak on the topic of Healthcare Reform: Federal Laws & State Solutions.  

Dr. Thompson traveled to Washington D.C. this summer and met with health care reform activists, legislators, and others to advocate for a single payer system and learn more about recent reforms.

The second part of the meeting will focus on increasing the involvement in educational efforts by our members. Educating ourselves and the public about the advantages of a single payer system is IHCFA’s most important role.

With that goal in mind, we plan to seek your help with our booth at the Hyde Park Street Fair, mailings, web site help, arranging presentations at churches and civic groups, and other opportunities to inform people about true health care reform.

Please join us and bring a friend on Thursday, September 16, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the basement conference room of the Idaho Education Building at 620 N. 6^th St. in Boise.
